FKi X Iggy Azalea - I Think She Ready [Prod By FKi X Diplo X HXV] (by FKiMusic) This track is cracking and straight party rap but I’m feeling this new shit Diplo and company are putting out, PLUS, with new up and comers who have talent… there’s nothing original rapping about rolling and partying but it’s good to see new faces who bring a fresh energy to this music art form called rap, that was suppossed to disappear like a fad in the 80’s, then 90’s, then the new millenium, until today when alotta people complain “rap is wack, not like back in the day, Wu-Tang Clan blah blah blah”and as each new sub-genre of rap gains popularity, it eventually becomes overdone and stale and weak sauce, until every couple of years you see a resurrgence from a particular city or sound because one rapper or group of rappers gets popular by putting out radion hits and club bangers… currently the best rapper alive is Lil Wayne but eventually he will become a caricature of himself, if not already, like all the living american icons and sadly there’ll come a time when nothing new and fresh as far as art goes, will be gained from him and he’ll be put out to pasture by the collective community of our culture… the point is, it is invigorating to hear new music from an artist that is strange and unknown to you, as in, you might have seen it somewhere or it kind of reminds you of something else but for the most part, it is original and it takes hold of your imagination, your pysche and your being, it makes you dance, cry, laugh, dream, wonder, think, and realize there’s more to life than money and our daily dramas, there’s art and artists who make it for us, to help us somehow achieve a sense of something that is immaterial and can’t be explained in words, though people try all the time, it’s what some would call the great unknown or GOD and art is the conduit to that place for human beings, that and drugs but that’s another late night discussion…

KENDRICK LAMAR “RIGAMORTIS”: BLOWHIPHOPTV.COM (by BLOWHIPHOPTV) “Lamar explains that Section 80. is for people born in the 80s until now. Lamar goes a variety of subjects such as referencing Drugs and discusses Ronald Reagan and how the Crack Epidemic occurred in the 80s and it is part of the reason Drugs were popular for his Generation and this means drug dealing and drug addicts.” (wikipedia 01/31/12)
Kendrick Lamar - Kush & Corinthians (His Pain) (feat. BJ The Chicago Kid) (by adebisi20) ” “Kush and Corinthians” notes that justice and morals are rarely cut and dried.” (wikipedia 01/31/12)
Kendrick Lamar - ADHD (Official Video) (by ado0101) “Lamar says that a dream or vision of Tupac Shakur in which Tupac said “Keep doing what you’re doing, don’t let my music die” inspired him to write much of Section.80. The concept of the album is similar to many of Tupac’s songs, carrying similar messages about troubled youths facing problems involving drugs and alcohol but in Kendrick’s own unique style. Kendrick has went on record saying this album is for Generation Y. “A.D.H.D.” addresses the high drug and medication tolerance of people born during the Reagan era.” (wikipedia 01/31/12)

Danny Brown - 30 (Prod. by Skywlkr) (by FvckSwag) “After a series of free experimental and independent mixtapes[6], Brown released another free album, The Hybrid on Washington, DC label Rappers I Know.
He then made his biggest commercial and critical smash to date in 2011 when he signed to Fool’s Gold Records, which released his album XXX as a free download. It received numerous critical accolades, including being named the best hip hop album of the year by Spin.[7] Pitchfork gave his album an 8.2 out of 10, stating “If XXX was nothing but debauchery and desperation, it would quickly devolve into an endless slog. Thankfully, Brown is also hilariously funny, an endlessly inventive rapper driven to cook up outrageous variations on standard rap boasts.”[8]
The publication later went on to name XXX the 19th best album of 2011.[9] XXX was also named the 6th best album of 2011 by Passion of the Weiss, calling the album “an uncomfortably honest self-portrait made even more remarkable by the fact that Danny Brown is alive to tell the story.” [10] In the wake of his success with XXX, Brown will begin touring with Childish Gambino in March, 2012.[11]” (wikipedia 01/31/12)
